If you are looking for a quick, easy, 5 minute breakfast idea…this is it! Not only is it delicious but it is packed with protein, fiber, and is dairy-free for any of you with dairy sensitivities. If dairy doesn’t bother you, feel free to use plain greek yogurt to bump the protein even more.
I have also attached links to some of the ingredients I used that I stock weekly in my fridge and pantry.
Ingredients
1/2 cup plain Silk Coconut Yogurt
1/2 scoop-1 full scoop Amy Myers Paleo Protein Powder
1 tablespoon Fiberlife Psyllium Flax Fibre Blend
1/4 cup Bran Buds
1 banana, sliced
1/3 cup raspberries or berries of choice
dash of cinnamon
Directions
Begin by adding the yogurt to the base of a bowl.
Stir in the protein powder and flax/psyllium blend very well until smooth with no lumps.
Next, add the bran buds and stir well.
Allow the yogurt to rest for a while to allow the flax/psyllium and bran buds to expand. (Overnight would be best!)
Last, add the banana, berries (or fruits of choice) and the cinnamon to finish.
