I wrote a book and it is finally complete and off to print!

I want to introduce you to my new book, Happy & Wholesome! It took me a while to come up with the perfect name because I wanted the title to reflect the purpose of this book and create an experience for the readers. That’s when I came up with Happy & Wholesome. To me, wholesome is a state in which you are living- physically and emotionally. It is about living a life of good health, finding true purpose, joy and working on self-development to encompass an all-around state of well-being.

This journey has definitely been a labour of love and I put my heart and soul into this project. The book contains over 85 healthy recipes but I want it to be so much more than just recipes.

My book contains four major chapters and parts;

Chapter 1 is titled “Yes You Can!” and discusses how to go after your goals and drop limiting beliefs so that you can achieve whatever you desire. For many years, I had the belief system that I was not smart enough or I was too quick to give up on myself when things became tough. I had to develop what I call “My pillars of transformation,” that I share with you in this chapter.

Chapter 2 is titled “Every Bite Matters.” Here I discuss the basics of nutrition, how to build a well-balanced meal and how to become in tune with your body and its needs. A basic meal plan and meal prepping schedule is offered in this section along with 20 snack ideas.

Chapter 3 is titled “Get Moving.” This contains a complete workout section and offers tools on how to start moving when you feel uninspired to do so.

Chapter 4, the last chapter of the book is “Let’s Eat!” This is the complete section of recipes. Everything from breakfasts, smoothies, bowls, dinner, and desserts. There are vegan, gluten-free, vegetarian and meat-eater options. Something for everyone!
